About Us

Honoring our past Investing in our future

The Conroe High School Alumni Association exists to preserve the heritage of CHS while creating meaningful opportunities for current and future generations of Tigers — through scholarships, service, alumni engagement, and community support.

Who We Are

A 501(c)(3) Built by Tigers For Tigers

The Conroe High School Alumni Association, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to connecting alumni, celebrating school traditions, and supporting the students, teachers, and staff who make Conroe High School a special place.

Our association is built on a simple belief: the strength of a school is measured not only by its history, but by the willingness of its alumni to invest in its future.

Our Scholarship Legacy

Honoring the Memory of Jimmy Schrock

The Conroe High School Alumni Association's scholarship program carries forward the memory of an alumnus who remained deeply committed to his school and community. In 2014, CHS Alumni Association President Bill Cochran, Class of 1969, recommended that the association's scholarship be named in honor of Jimmy Schrock, Class of 1967.

Jimmy served as treasurer of the Alumni Association, was active throughout the Conroe community, and a dedicated supporter of Conroe High School. Therefore, naming the scholarship "The Conroe High School Alumni Association Scholarship in Memory of Jimmy Schrock" is a heartfelt way to recognize his service and preserve his legacy.

Today, every scholarship awarded carries that spirit of service forward—connecting the generosity of past Tigers with the aspirations of the next generation.

Our Mission

Foster camaraderie Support the school

Our mission is to foster membership and camaraderie among all former attendees of Conroe High School while supporting the current needs of students, teachers, staff, and the school community.

  • Award scholarships for higher education, community college, or trade school
  • Support programs that benefit students and the school community
  • Recognize outstanding teachers, staff, and administrators
  • Preserve the traditions and spirit that unite generations of Tigers

Our Vision

A connected Tiger legacy

We envision a future where every generation of Conroe Tigers remains connected to their alma mater and plays a role in helping the next generation succeed.

As our alumni network grows, so will our ability to expand scholarships, strengthen involvement, recognize those who serve our students, and preserve traditions that make CHS unique.
