Education has the power to change lives, strengthen families, and build stronger communities. The CHS Alumni Association believes every graduating Tiger should have the opportunity to pursue higher education — regardless of the path they choose.
Whether a student plans to attend a four-year university, community college, technical school, or skilled trade program, our scholarship program is designed to ease the financial burden of continuing their education.

Any graduating senior attending Conroe High School who plans to continue their education is encouraged to apply. Success comes in many forms — every student's educational journey deserves support.

The Scholarship Process
A fair and transparent selection
Every application receives careful consideration from a committee of dedicated alumni volunteers using a structured rating process.
Applications Open & Submission
Applications become available at the beginning of November. Students complete and submit their application before the Friday preceding Spring Break, including GPA information, essays, school activities, awards, and community service.
Committee Review & Recipient Selection
Applications are independently reviewed by members of the Scholarship Committee using a standardized evaluation rubric. Committee scores are combined to identify scholarship recipients based on academic achievement, leadership, school involvement, community service, and the overall strength of each application.
Scholarship Recipients Recognized
Selected students are recognized and celebrated during the annual Conroe High School Alumni Association Reception, where their achievements are honored before beginning the next chapter of their educational journey.
Scholarship Funds Distributed
Following enrollment verification, scholarship funds are distributed directly to each recipient's college, university, community college, or trade school to support their continued education.

From the moment I received my scholarship from the Conroe High Alumni Association, I have come to realize that what the association gave me wasn’t just financial aid, but security and the chance to do good with my education. In my first year of college, I wasn’t burdened with the need to earn money to pay my tuition. I was able to put all my time and energy towards my studies, and it paid off. In my very first semester, I was offered a distinguished position as an embedded tutor for College Mathematics at Sam Houston State University. At only 17, I was the youngest to have achieved such a feat. They saw my potential in academics and offered me a spot in their elite group of scholars as we strive to help our fellow peers towards their goal of academic success. None of it would have been possible without the help and support from the Conroe High Alumni Association, and I will continue to strive in my studies of Political Science and Legal Studies. I’m honored to be a part of the association and to know that I would always have a community supporting me.

Receiving this scholarship truly made a difference in my education. After graduating high school, it took away a lot of the financial stress that comes with starting college and allowed me to continue my education right away without having to put my goals on hold. The CHS Alumni Association Scholarship stands to represent more than its monetary value. It's provided me the opportunity to focus on my studies in college, pursue my career interests, and also connect with a wide network of alumni from my high school. I am so thankful to have received the CHS Alumni Association Scholarship. While studying computer science at Texas A&M University in Galveston, this scholarship has helped me focus on taking full advantage of the many opportunities provided since this scholarship has reduced financial concerns. For example, I was able to join the Honors College which allows me to take unique courses and complete projects based on my interests and career goals throughout my college career. I was also able to get involved with different student organizations like the Sea Aggie Orchestra. The CHS Alumni Association Scholarship allowed me to get involved my freshman year and to create a habit of involvement to last throughout my college career.
